My "Basket" series of blown glass pieces sport forms and color combinations that take cues and inspiration from shapes and patterns of both traditional and modern baskets, and Native American ceramics of the southwest U.S. This piece is made with a unique homemade white 'opaline phosphate' (semi-transparent) glass that I mixed and melted here in my studio.
