I have been mixing the ingredients for and then melting different transparent colored glasses in one of my furnaces here since 2012, something I've wanted to do since even before setting up my own studio. I don't really care much for clear glass. Exploring color relationships and the technical challenges involved in making goblets at the furnace are what these are all about for me.
